Let's clarify the confusion of model and brand names. You will sometimes see the Marpac SleepMate 980 variously listed as: Sleep Mate Sound Screen Marsona Sleepmate Marpac Sleepmate Marsona SoundScreen These all refer to the same machine The only reason for the different names that I can understand is to market the machine to office and work environments under the Soundscreen name and as the Sleepmate to home consumers wanting help sleeping.
